Your lease require that you give us 30 days' written notice of your intent to move out.
Your security deposit may not be used as your last month's rent. This may be subjected you to liability of up to 3 times the rent wrongfully withheld plus the Landlord's reasonable attorney's fees. Please refer to item 10 of your lease.
The Texas Property Code states that your security deposit can be withheld to recover bank rent, utilities or to repair damage caused by the neglect or abuse by Tenant, their guests, or pets. If you are aware of repairs made prior to move out. All repairs made to the property and all vendors used must be approved by the management company prior to performing work.
We will inspect the property upon your move out and will determine what costs, if any, are required to return the property to the condition it was in upon move in, excluding normal wear and tear.
You will receive a written determination of the security deposit and any refund owed within 30 days of your move out AND of your providing with your forwarding address.
