Move Out Procedures

You must provide a written notice to vacate a minimum of 30 days prior to the end of your lease term. If you are currently month-to-month, your lease term will end at the end of the month following your notice to vacate (unless otherwise provided in your lease agreement). For example; if your lease is month-to-month and you provide notice on the 15th of March, your lease term will end on April 30th.

Call your electrical provider, natural gas provider and water/sewer/trash provider to read the meters on your last day of occupancy and take the services out of your name. Make sure that all trash is picked up prior to terminating your water/trash service.

Discontinue your telephone service at least 24 hours before vacating and all other services such as alarm monitoring, cable service, pool service and yard service on your move day out.
